Please meet Jacob, reluctantly being re homed as circumstances have changed. Jacob is a neutered male of 6 – 7 years old Deerhound cross Lurcher. Jacob is totally clean, does not jump on furniture, walks well on lead never pulls and has good recall. He is a hound and will chase squirrels and cats etc. Can appear a little uncomfortable on lead with dogs approaching without manners and will whinge at the sight of a cat!

Jacob will meet and greet outdoors with male dogs but will not share his home with a male. Off lead and in the park he is quite puppy like and really likes to run fast and play. If a dog seems aggressive he walks away. He will happily share his home with a female and enjoy the company. He also works well as an only dog. He has been happily with children of nine years plus.

A retirement and forever home is required for this gorgeous hound. Jacob travels well and has his suitcase packed! He can be left alone for reasonable periods of say 3 – 4 hours without any problem. A very nice easy happy dog would suit many but especially those with hound experience. Thanks for reading about Jacob.
