Meet sweet kindly Irish wolfhound cross Deerhound Jacob. A male neutered of 7 years. he is off leash with good recall. He walks quietly and gently on loose lead. He is good with dogs in the park and if a dog seems aggressive will walk away. On lead if he sees a cat he will whinge, with dogs he is less comfortable on lead but doesn’t pull just needs re assuring. He is good with people young, old and in between. The children hug him and play with him. He is a calm well mannered dog. Off lead will chase small flurries. On lead he just whines if he sees them. In the park he gets a new lease of life and will run like a pup for a short while.
Jacob does not like to share bed and food with another dog in the house. No cats of course. But otherwise would suit any home with or without children as long as they are respectful and not under 6 years. Jacob is chipped de flead and neutered. He would be fine with an hour a day walking, some of it off leash to stretch those long legs. A forever home for hound dog Jacob please. Like most hounds he sleeps a lot at home likes a comfortable bed and is calm clean and well behaved.
