Mika is a 5 year old female German Shepherd cross Doberman. She was originally rehomed from us when she was 7 months old but has sadly found herself back in our care. She is a stunning, bouncy girl who is full of fun and mischief. She is very friendly with all of the staff; she is a bright and obedient girl who we believe would truly flourish with the right family.
Due to her breed, Mika has displayed some protective tendencies around her family and can be wary when strangers approach the home. For this reason she would benefit from an experienced owner.

Mika mixes well with other dogs when off lead, but can be reactive when on the lead. We feel that she may have potential to live with a compatible dog but this would be based on several introductions at the rescue. She cannot live with cats or small animals.
We are looking for an adult only home for Mika where she won’t be left alone for more than a couple of hours. In the home she is clean and non-destructive but she can be vocal.

Overall, Mika is a very sweet girl who would make a wonderful companion but she will need an active home with plenty of exercise and stimulation.
